Swing to the Top

Jump and swing up the trees to get your bananas!

     Swing to the Top is a game that invites players to take on the role of a monkey with the objective of climb a tree and obtain bananas. In pursuit of this goal, the player must navigate through the network of branches and vines that make up the jungle trees, making their way to the topmost branches. 

     Taking inspiration from the game Jump King, players progress vertically through the game, jumping from one platform to another on their way to the top, with a jump mechanic that if the jump button is pressed longer, the jump is also going to be bigger. Along the way, players will also swing through the vines of the jungle, in order to move from one branch to another.

 Take control of a cute monkey that you will have to help to get its food.

  Play a sidescroller platformer easy to understand but hard to master, where your mistakes will be heavily punished.

  Explore a slightly minimalistic and cartoonish jungle with an oppressive and dark atmosphere, which becomes bright as you reach the top.

  Press to charge and release to jump. Swing to grab the desired momentum. Think before acting.

Play by using:

WASD or Arrows to move.

Hold Space to charge and release to jump.

Right and Left to Swing and Space to jump off the vine.
